Sarah Jane Robinson
I graduated from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and received my Juris Doctor law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 1997. I was admitted to practice law in California in December, 1997, and since then I have focused my practice on bankruptcy and construction litigation.
In the construction field, I have represented numerous owners, large developers, general contractors, subcontractors and insurance companies in matters involving commercial and residential real estate projects. Most construction matters are resolved through mediation, but when necessary I have taken such matters through trial with positive results for my clients.
In the bankruptcy field, I have represented debtors, creditors, trustees and debtor principals. My current focus is assisting people who have become victims of the current economic crisis to discharge their obligations through Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
Prior to starting my own firm, I worked for a large full-service downtown law firm as well as smaller boutique firms. While in law school, I was an extern with a Federal Bankruptcy Judge.
In addition to litigating matters in court, I work with clients to lower their exposure to legal risks.
I handle matters all over Southern and Central California, from San Diego to San Luis Obispo, and I am based in the San Fernando Valley.
On a personal note, I am a happy wife, mother and animal lover. I devote time to several animal rescue organizations and legal pro bono causes and I like to cook, swim, garden, hike and golf.
